The Adriatic coast in Romagna is considered one of the best areas for fun as it offers a wide choice of parks for children and adults alike.

Ravenna is a treasure chest of art, history and culture of the first order, just consider that eight of its monuments have been included in UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites: the Mausoleum of Theodoric, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, the Orthodox Baptistery, the Arian Baptistery, the Basilica of San Vitale, the Basilica of St. Apollinare in Classe, the Basilica of St. Apollinare Nuova, the Chapel of St. Andrea in the Archdiocesan Museum.
No less interesting is the network of museum complexes : MAR ( Art Museum of the city of Ravenna ), which offers permanent collections and periodic high-profile spoliations, the National Museum with collections of artefacts from Roman and Byzantine excavations, the Tamo ( the whole of the Mosaic Adventure ) with a permanent multimedia exhibition dedicated entirely to the art of mosaic in every historical period and in all its forms, and finally the Museum of the Renaissance and the Dante Museum.
Cervia, the ancient "city of salt", the old " fishing harbour " and the vast expanses of pine forest, with its resort of Milano Marittima, Pinarella and Tagliata, is now one of the most renowned Italian tourist destinations.
In the town centre, is the old St. Michael's Tower which was used as a "defense" of the old city of salt. Next to the tower, the picturesque Salt warehouses for the storage, cleaning, weighing and portioning of salt collected from the Saline of Cervia.
On the other hand, children can amuse themselves at the Butterfly House in Milano Marittima. The main attraction of this park is a 500 square metres educational greenhouse where hundreds of tropical butterflies of spectacular colors can fly freely. Also within the complex, is the Home of the Insects and the new Caterpillar Greenhouse.
Rimini is a province rich of historical, cultural, sporting, naturalistic, and eating itineraries.
The city offers within its walls a historic / cultural itinerary for each period that it went through : Roman, Medieval, Renaissance,the Fellini era, Franciscan.... how can you not cross the Tiberius Bridge or pass under the Augustus Arch without feeling all the history!
